About the distillery
Mannochmore spent much of its history operating quietly within the blending industry, though it became briefly famous through the unusual black-colored Loch Dhu release of the 1990s. Beyond that curiosity, the distillery produces a clean and balanced Speyside spirit style emphasizing malt sweetness and restrained fruit. Independent bottlings remain the primary way many enthusiasts encounter Mannochmore as a single malt.
